Public Relations & Marketing Consultant

As a public relations and marketing consultant, Fanny develops and implements public relations and marketing strategies to build and sustain brand awareness for corporate clients. In addition, Fanny partners with New York and California based public relations agencies, advising senior management on media strategy and securing feature media placements on behalf of agencies’ clients.

Feature media placements for corporate clients and public relations agencies’ clients include national print media, such as Wall Street Journal, New York Times, USA Today, Business Week, Robb Report, Condé Nast Traveler, Town & Country, Metropolitan Home, Men’s Health, Playboy, USA Weekend, Parade among others as well as syndicates such as Associated Press and Reuters. National broadcast for coverage ranging from expert interviews to product placements includes CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, BBC, Early Show, The Rachael Ray Show and The View.

Fanny also successfully implements media campaigns for select regional programs and has achieved coverage in top tier markets, including but not limited to New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston and Atlanta.

As public relations advisor for above agencies, Fanny worked closely with agencies’ principals and account teams, and achieved business and consumer media coverage for top tier companies in the industries of travel and hospitality, wine and spirits, media properties and digital technology as well as entertainment, real estate, non-profit, beauty, health care, politics, education and design. Partial project list includes: launch of new Levi’s line for men; developed media and consumer awareness of Cervical Cancer Awareness month; obtained science and education coverage for Pfizer GENOME project; secured broadcast coverage for media tour with CEO of Four Seasons Hotels; announced ground breakings for The Ritz-Carlton Club; and developed national and regional programs for Pravda Vodka.

Fanny is also a former board member and director of public relations and marketing for Women in Consulting (WIC), a leading non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing networking and business growth for independent consultants and small business owners in the San Francisco Bay area.

Fanny started to consult for corporate clients and public relations agencies while attending graduate school in New York City. Prior to consulting, Fanny was a public relations executive with New York City based public relations agencies, such as Rubenstein Public Relations. As a public relations executive with New York City agencies, Fanny worked closely with agencies’ principals to develop public relations and marketing campaigns for clients that included beauty products, wine and spirits, hotels and restaurants, consumer web sites, non-profits and special events. Fanny achieved media coverage in top tier business and consumer media, negotiated clients’ sponsorships at select events, and secured executive participation at key industry events.
